Pensionly is a private record-keeping and illustration tool for UK pensions. You enter the pensions you already hold, and the app shows totals, charges and projections from the figures you entered.
Information, not advice
Pensionly provides factual information and generic guidance only. It is not regulated financial advice, and it never recommends a specific product, provider, fund or transfer.
Projections and comparisons are illustrations based on figures you enter and assumptions shown on screen — they are not guarantees, forecasts of actual performance, or personal recommendations. Transferring a pension can mean losing valuable guarantees.
If you are unsure what is right for you, speak to a regulated financial adviser, or get free impartial guidance from MoneyHelper (moneyhelper.org.uk). You can check whether an adviser is authorised on the FCA register (register.fca.org.uk).
No connection to your pension
Pensionly is not connected to any pension provider. It does not hold, transfer or manage money, and it cannot move or access anyone's pension. Nothing you do in the app changes anything about your actual pensions.
Price
Pensionly is free. There is no subscription, no advertising and no in-app purchase.
Accuracy and your responsibility
The app's figures are only as good as the figures you enter, and published rates and allowances change each tax year. Before acting on anything, check the numbers that matter against your provider's statements and official sources such as gov.uk. Statement scanning is a convenience — always review what was read before saving it.
Your data
Pensionly has no account and no servers; everything you enter stays on your device. How that works — including backups, permissions and deletion — is set out in the Privacy Policy on this site. You are responsible for keeping your device and any exported backup file (and its passphrase) safe.
Intellectual property
The Pensionly name, mark, app and the content of this website belong to us. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission. Your data is yours.
Third-party links
The app and this site link to external services such as gov.uk and MoneyHelper. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Liability
Pensionly is provided as-is, free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the site or the app, including decisions made on the basis of figures or illustrations shown in it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page and the date at the top will change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
